Its Digital Signal Processor (DSP) consistently monitors both the phone line and audio signals to deliver superior separation. This device employs a proprietary, dual-convergence echo canceller algorithm that achieves remarkable separation, often exceeding 50 dB, without any setup or noise burst transmission. It offers connections for a microphone, headphones, mixer, sound card, telephone, and your analog telephone line. An auxiliary telephone is only needed to place outgoing calls, and is automatically disconnected when you press the "Call" button and reconnected when you press the "Drop" button. The Broadcast Host also features Auto-Answer/Auto Disconnect for use in IFB and monitoring applications. Other potential applications for this durable, compact, and user-friendly device include telephone interviews, talk shows, church PA interface, and conference room full duplex applications. Caller audio is noisy. If you even approach 50% on the input gain, you’ll get lots of hiss. 

Send audio is weak. An internal clipper is set far too low. The result is that to get adequate send audio to the caller, you must turn up the output level to the point where the clipper causes severe distortion. Multiple calls to mfr support were useless. Very poor support.
