Doesn't work for taking videos on my Android phone, so useless.

Same problem as Jesse below. On my Android phone, it registers two clicks on video so switches the video on and off again without recording. Frustratingly it works ok to take photos and works on my ipad, and very very occasionally it works to take videos on my android phone, but I actually need it to work reliably for videos on my android phone, so it's useless to me as it is.

Only works for Iphone pictures and video not 3rd party Apps

I bought this tiny device so I could take Flir thermal pictures using a tripod with pan and tilt. When I try to use the Flir Thermal picture app on my IPhone with the Impulse it only turns the ringer volume up on the IPhone and does not take a picture. It is definitely not compatible when using 3rd party Apps. It works great for just taking Iphone photos, but that's not what I need it for. Wish it would have said only good for IPhone. Is there away it could be used for all IPhone Apps?

only for photos and video

I bought this to use on FB live videos that I would do on my iPad or phone. Unfortunately, it only works to take videos and photos on my iPhone. I was disappointed. I decided to keep it rather than go through the return process. I am sure that I will use it.

Defective?

Hi, I got this Bluetooth Impulse Remote that came with the Joby GripTight PRO TelePod Tripod. The telepod is really good, but the remote is not. It registers two clicks when pressed, even if just pressed once. This becomes an annoyance when recording a video as a single press would start the video but immediately stop the video recording, rendering it useless for remote controlling the phone for video recording. Is there a way to have this fixed?
