Dwayne T : Is this keyboard compatible with an iPad mini 1st edition ?ZEDIC B : I think, but I'm not sure!DEEPAK I : I am using it with iPad 2. I have no reason to believe that it will not work with Mini. It is bluetooth based and if there is BT on Mini, this should work. The quality of the keyboard is alright but not great. It is fine for occasional use. If you plan to type a lot, you may want to look at logitech or other keyboards.LUIS G : I am not sure, it works fine with my iPad 3rd generation. Bluetooth Keyboard great purchase!

First I must tell you my rating is actually 4 1/2 stars. I take off 1/2 star because I keep forgetting to turn the keyboard off when I put my computer to sleep! It would have been nice to have the on-off switch on the top side of the keyboard as the switch is almost as small as a memory card switch. As a result I find I have to have the cord attached for charging more than necessary at least until I get use to flipping the keyboard over and turning off the switch! That complaining over with I wish I had known of this bargain before I bought my Apple key board for $50.00!!. I bought this in the hopes of elminating at least one wire off the top of my desk! It is a fantastic bargain and if you don't buy one, you are a hopeless cheapskate! Believe me when I tell you, this is great item!!

Synched well both with MacBook and iPad

It was very easy to follow the instructions and synch the keyboard with both my Macbook pro and my iPad. Little clarification tip: when the instructions say "press the button at the bottom of the keyboard" they mean the reset button on the back. Figuring this out took me a couple of minutes, otherwise everything was extremely easy. The keyboard is designed for iPad and for traveling, so it does not replace a full size keyboard in any way. This is a good keyboard for its price.
