I bought 2 of these one is really nice, the other one we have to tighten one of the fasteners it keeps falling down. Nice bag too!

The stand was pretty easy to set up by myself, using that chair to push up the central piece. It came with a small allen wrench which I'm guessing is to lock in some parts or remove them, but there was no manual explaining anything. Lack of documentation took this to a 4-star. So far it's been used two times with no trouble.

Sturdy and easy to use. Great value. I've used this for several shoots already, including a few on ice. Stands are very secure.

I haven't had any issues yet but the crossbar does not appear to be steel. I was hoping for more. Overall though it works well enough. I have stood on my backdrop to apply tension and I think you would have to fall into into it to knock it down. It could happen so it's something to think about when using this with a large piece of muslin or other long background that touches the floor. The good news is, if it does fall it's very lightweight and won't seriously hurt anyone.

I really like this stand. It is pretty sturdy and all. When it is fully assembled at it widest, I am somewhat concerned about the middle section if the background is really heavy. This is why I gave it four stars. Overall, I love it and it will do what I need it to do just fine.

Not much to say, I was pleasantly surprised to see that I could install a short backdrop rod using only two of the three cross-pole sections. It fits the room perfectly, and only took five minutes to set up. The carrying case is fine. This is in a small studio I use to take product photos for my electro-optical products webstore - www.avcemporium.com.

I am an event planner for Whiteman Air Force Base, and we use these for so many events throughout the year! From photography backdrops, to pipe and drape, to anything you can imagine they have come in handy multiple times. Love how easy it is to set-up with two people, but also just as easy for one person to put together. Would highly recommend!

Crossbar can't handle the weight of the background curtain. But, it still work if you don't mind the sagging in the middle.

While the upright supports are indeed heavy duty steel, the top crossbar appears to be less than heavy duty aluminum and sags under the weight of the muslin background. Aluminum would be acceptable if it were somewhat thicker.

Although the stands are heavy duty steel the crossbar is very lightweight aluminum. 2 sections of the bar arrived damaged - most likely from the stands being smashed into them.

stands are fairly rugged but the crossbar very weak, thin aluminum. So weak that after unboxing 1 end section was dented in a way (most likely by the stands) that would not allow it to connect to the center section. The other end that could connect also had a small amount of flex so I wouldn't imagine that this stand would be suitable for more than the lightest of backdrops.

I doubted whether I needed the heavy duty set, I could've got the much cheaper light duty one but im so glad i got this one instead. I haven't invested in muslin yet so im using blankets & fabric and this held them just fine. At one point i had 3 different fabrics up there and it held them just fine. I love the carrying case, even tho its a little heavy I carried it perfectly on my shoulder with my light set in the other hand.

It simple really. Don't know how you could get a better product at this price point. Highly recommended.
