Before I place my order on line, I went to a local store and checked up the displayed sample of JTL Pro Boom Kit. I was surprised finding that the kit has been completely re-designed: The 3 legs equipped with 3 durable casts are made of steel for stable supporting, the up-right pole is made of rigid Aluminum alloy metal for flexible movement, the boom arm is hided inside of the up-right pole to save carrying space unless you pull it out for application. • The JTL Portable Boom Kit is able to hold up to 7 pounds at a 7' extension. The boom arm is segmented into 3 sections and can be randomly set by the two threaded locking wheels. The two section stand with a broad base makes the entire set extremely stable. A castor set is available as an accessory.
