I am an architectural and commercial photographer and chose the JTL D-1000's for four reasons; 1. JTL explained their color temp from highest to lowest power settings better than the other three manufacturers I spoke with - and all 15 strobes are color consistent - strobe to strobe and across the entire power range; 2. The D-1000 is a true 1000ws; 3. the price was right 4. service, when I've needed it is great I will admit, the size is a bit large and it is hard to find cases for them, but we have managed. Great investment - can't see any reason to use anything else for my work
