They do not last I am sending heads in about once every 6 months. They run about 80.00 to 125.00 for repair.

I have been taking photos for years, but mostly landscapes and candid shots. I wanted to get into portrait photography, and needed to experiment with using and controlling multiple lights. Because I am retired, my finances are limited. I was looking for a complete setup at a reasonable cost. I was very impressed with the completeness of the JTL kit and the quality of the equipment.

Have only worked with the lights for a few weeks. But it has worked flawlessly. This kit will cover many lighting set-ups and is mobile even where AC is not available. Ordered with the DigiFirer radio remote, and love the cordless freedom. Wow, this is alot of great equipment for a small price. It is to be seen how these monolights hold up under heavy use. But first impressions are VERY favorable. Has worked consistently with no color shift. Would definitely recommend for advanced amateurs and Pros with a need for mobility.
