Would recommend.
One bulb was broken on arrival. Shipping covers cant be used with bulbs installed so you have to remove the bulbs when transporting. Nice air cushioned stands. Product seems well made with internal cooling fans. Adjustable output. Great case with extendable handle and wheels.

Lights are of good quality and run very hot. They are dimmable which is an added bonus. Theyou are fan cooled and fans are pretty quest. With the optional extra diffusing panel you can get a great soft wrap around light source. The service unfortunately was not as good as the product. I was missing the stands and extra lightbulb and fuse I purchased and am still waiting nearly 2 weeks later for. I was finally sent a tracking number yesterday. My advice would be to buy these right from the manufacturer not from Adorama.

I was missing stands and a light bulb from my order but instead of reordering them immediately for me they had to contact JTL directly. Somehow this took almost two weeks. After several angry phone calls by me and threatening to cancel my order I finally have a tracking number for the missing parts. Very badly handled and I will never be ordering from Adorama again. I told the Customer Service team this and they didn't seem to care much

Affordable light kit - easy to transport
I've used JTL equipment before...always found their equipment to be solid and a good value. Good color temp, sturdy and easily transportable. Most of my video work is in the field, so a lighting kit that is reliable, durable and simple to set-up, tear down and transport is critical. Quartz bulbs run hot so it's not a unit designed to light a studio set for hours and hours. Other than that, solid lighting kit.
