This is definitely an alternative to the Pocket Wizard. Definitley cheap construction, but I've used these in medium to large high school gyms and they work like a charm. No problems and they fire every time.

I bought 2 kits. They work fine about 90% of the time. But, they seem to be getting less reliable. I've been using them at weddings and it is very frustrating when they don't fire, ofcourse. I'll press the test button and then they'll work good for a while. Within the first month I had them, I broke one of my transmitters off of my 30D, The housing is very flimsy, but hey so is the price. I hope I can discover a way to make them fire a "little" more reliable. If your shooting something your not pressed for time or might miss that perfect expression, I would recommend these units. But, if this keeps up I'll have to buy one of the other better quality units. At my last wedding, three occassions the flash did fire, but did not sync with the camera, hmmmm. . . don't know what to think about that one.
