Shopper : For my canon rebel XTI would I need to purchase a sync cord or hot shoe?LYNN C : It'll come with a sync cord and the others fire on slave. Although, wireless is the only way to go after you've figured out how to use what you have.AMY B : Mine came with a sync cord.FRANCE H : NoSTEVE L : I trigger my setup using the on camera flash. Set it to a low power output if you do not want the camera flash to contribute. Also set camera flash mode to manual to avoid the pre flash which would trigger the JTL lights prematurely.TERA F : You already have a hot shoe which is the spot on the top of the camera where an external flash which would be attached. A sync cord would work with a connected sync socket on the hot shoe or you could get a wireless sync connection that works from your hot shoe. I use the Microsync II digital transmitter and receiver. There are other options.JUDSON M : You would need to by a pc sync cord to hot shoe adapter (FAPC15).
