This umbrella is exactly as is described.  it's sturdy, practical, and inexpensive.  Recommend.

So good I ordered another right away.

The Shoot Through umbrella is definitely highly recommended for helping both diffuse and spread out the light emitted from any given flash unit and I really love using it!However, and this is my experience from attaching to a light stand, it is not built to be very sturdy or resistant to even the smallest of accidental falls, where the metal bars inside the umbrella can easily bend or break -- obviously I would also recommend getting a sand bag or something heavy like a bag of rocks or weights to keep your light stands weighted down with the umbrella attached. A lesson that I'm going to be using for myself in the future.

Great Shoot-Through Umbrella!

So far I like my new umbrella,  it is big and looks strong,  in the next few days I'm going to practice a lot with it,  I really like the price and fast shipping.

Good umbrella and perfect size

I needed a basic umbrella for my studio lights. This umbrella does a good job. You can use the studio lights reflecting into the umbrella, or shoot through the umbrella. My only complaint is how bright (white) the umbrella is. By shooting through the umbrella, I would like the umbrella to be a more off white.

I would buy this product anytime.

Sometimes we all get to caught up in the gear.  Get a light stand, flash, flash/umbrella holder and one of these, and you can do some really nice lighting for not a lot of money.

I use mostly Shoot Through Umbrella for small groups
of up to four people due to its large spread of light. Light and easy to set up. i definitely recommend this product.

This is my only experience using JTL equipment, and I have to say I am not impressed with the quality of the umbrella. The umbrella basically fell apart out of the box. Lots of plastic pieces and not very well put together. I would not recommend this umbrella to anyone.

It good build compact and easy tuse

I needed an umbrella and I went cheap. It paid off. The umbrella is plenty big for my needs. It is of good quality. I expected it to be made out of paper considering the price. I bought one for use with a quantaray ms-1 opitical slave flash unit and the combo has worked great. I also invested in an adorama brand umbrella/hot shoe clamp with a jtl stand. The setup worked well enough that I ordered a 2nd one.

Good accessory

Good for the money paid for it but I have my doubts as to its long term reliability. Does the job though and for casual shooting its just fine.
