Great monolight for the price

Very nice built monolight with good mounting clamp. Stays in place with a 36 in. softbox. Good value for the price. I'm trying to find out if accessories from other manufactures would fit the mounting of the JTL since the JTL accessories are limited. [...]

Better than I expected

Pleasantly surprised at the value of this light. It's actually better than I would have thought for the cost and seems to be a very good monolight.

Featuring a standard fan cooled, aluminum alloy housing, and a 360-degree photo slave, this light has a built-in stabilizer for providing an output precision of +/- 0.1F.

It features a detachable optidress flash tube with UV correction coating (protected by a glass-made safety cover) for accurate color temperature, which is crucial for portrait pictures. In addition, a variety of accessories are available for the Versalight E, including flash tubes, kits, standard metal reflectors, and stand fixtures.
