It's time to redefine your expectations of a distribution amplifier with the VDA-2419 3G/HD/SD Distribution Amplifier Card. This isn't just another DA; it's a sophisticated multi-rate SDI digital video distribution system, capable of distributing up to nine signals from a single input or two groups of four signals from dual inputs.
The VDA-2419 is designed to handle a variety of data rates within the SDI signal range and specifications, offering unparalleled flexibility. This advanced functionality is housed in a compact, single-slot openGear (OG) card. This card can be paired with a second card to share a rear panel, allowing you to achieve a quad DA with four outputs each or a dual DA with nine outputs each.
What sets the VDA-2419 apart is its integrated cross-point matrix. This feature provides the ability to assign a specific input signal to one or more outputs, and even enables you to disable outputs as needed. The card also includes an automatic fail-over mode, ensuring uninterrupted operation by switching to the second input if the first input signal fails or becomes corrupted.
For installations with mixed cable topographies, the VDA-2419 offers the option to accept an SDI input signal via optical fiber and/or output a signal to optical fiber. All outputs are non-inverting and ASI capable, and an auto-mute feature silences any input signals under 20Mbps.
The VDA-2419 also includes two optional video SMBs for convenient front monitoring of signals. Control is simple, either via dip switches on the front card edge or through the openGear Dashboard Management Software (DBM). A lock-out feature on the card ensures that card parameters cannot be changed remotely via DBM.
The VDA-2419 offers four options for rear panel I/O modules, including 10 regular BNC's (1X9 or dual 1X4), and BNC's with optional SC's for optical I/O.
Designed and manufactured in New York, the VDA-2419 3G/HD/SD Distribution Amplifier Card is more than just a DA - it's a game-changer in digital video distribution.
