Solid build and quality glass that brings all of the gorgeous light coming through your medium format lens down to fit your sensor size. This effectively gives you an extra stop of light (why wouldn't you want that??) and reduces the focal distance by .7

I have the Pentax 645 55mm, 120mm and 150mm. 55mm can not focus to infinity. 120mm and 150mm can. 120mm is a macro lens. It will causes pretty serious vignetting on the close end with his speed booster. The quality and bokeh are good and it does produce a medium format feel if you do not mind the issues mentioned above.

This is an incredible focal reducer but not without it's problems. First the good. I use it on a Sony A7, A7s II and A7r II all with great results with limitations. If you are doing product shots or filmmaking it is incredible. You get a faux arri alexa 65 look. The effective sensor size is 53mm x 40mm using this adapter. So the shots look amazing. You get the incredible bokeh and fall off you expect from medum format as well as that 3d pop and image seperation from the background. So you get a 65mm look in 4k for very little money. The bad. Like another review stated. Infinity focus is an issue on some lenses. Also one other negative is when you are focusing the lens if you turn it too far, it will start to come off of the adapter. If you use a follow focus this will not be an issue. But if you are doing run and gun and focusing by hand. It is a pain sometimes. They need to put some kind of locking mechanism in it. To keep the lens firmly attached to the front of the adapter. It's not perfect. But you can not get the 65mm film look for so little money without this adapter. I am buying the Hasselblad one next.

Great adapter for most P645 lenses. If you plan on using it with any of the newer p645 HD lenses you are out of luck though because of the lack of aperture ring. The 55mm wouldn't even attach to use wide open. For those reasons I am returning mine but otherwise it works well for all of the older glass.

The Kipon focal reducer would NOT allow infinity focus with any of my Mamiya lenses (24, 35, & 150mm). I cannot recommend this lens adapter unless they can fix this fault. Infinity focus is very important to any landscape photographer! So far the Kipon USA web site has not answered my complaint. My camera is a Sony A7.
