The bag easily fits the body for a Nikon D3000, but it's hard to fit the body with the stock 18-55mm lens.

My Kodak Z990 MAX just fits in this bag with no wasted space. My MAX fits nice and snug, it doesn't bounce around. I also have room for extra sets of batteries, remote control, cords and manual. It doesn't weigh hardly anything so it doesn't hurt my shoulder carrying it around all day.

I bought this for my new Z990 Kodak camera. It just fits. I have just enough room for extra batteries, cables and manual. The padding is good protection.

This bag is perfect for my Olympus E-P2 w/17mm pancake lens. I can fit the small PEN flash, and a second 50mm FFL lens in the main compartment. i have the extra battery, and cable in one side pocket, and my sd card wallet in the zip compartment inside the top. It comes with a rain/sun cover that fits right into the back. I have one side pocket empty that I will probably use to store the EVF if i decide I need one. It comes with two different shoulder straps, the mega padded one is amazingly comfortable, I never even unwrapped the second one. The construction is top rate. It's rare that something I buy exceeds my expectations, but this clearly does.

This unit was too small to fit either my cannon film SLR (EOS) or Olympus 520 w/ strap mounted. Appears bigger in picture. Gave it to my son and he puts his small point ans shoot, and tiny video cam plus cables and charger in it. I would not recommend for SLR's fim or digital.
