I wanted a smaller camera bag for my Nikon D3000. This was it! I can get the camera out easily. With the small lens on (haven't tried a bigger lens), there is plenty of room to put the camera strap easily inside the bag too. I like that the padding on the strap doesn't slide all over the place. It is sewn on and there are adjusters on either side of the strap that help you position it where it is comfortable. Seems well padded too.

I bought this to supplement my KATA DR467 backpack so I wouldn't have to drag the packpack all over so I would have a place to protect my camera. It's well made like all KATA bags. It has a nice carrying strap, plus a raincover. I think I'll get a lot of use our of this pouch.
