Great bag....totally useles monopod

Really great bag if you want/need to carry around a bit of camera equio AND a bit of a whole bunch of other things. On a recent trip to CA, I had the following in this bag:- 40D body with 50mm lens attached- 100mm lens- 28-135 lens- speedlight flash- 2 pouches of about 1"x4"x10" each; one with CF cards, extra battery and charger, extra AA batteries, trigger, charger for iPad/iPhone; the other with 2 small bottles of vitamins, lotion, sunscreen, chapstick, couch drops, bottle of Umcka, pocket oxymeter- 8 filters stored in 2 filter pouches- an iPad- a paperback book (~250 pages)- 2 magazines, - thin notepad- 2 small earbud pouches- ~2 oz of loose tea- a Nissan portable tea brewer (~10 oz capacity)- couple of pens- 2 lens pens- a 27 oz Kleen Kanteen bottle (in the external bottle holder; NOTE: after putting the bottle in the holder, slip the top of the bottle between the strap on the right front of the bag and the bag itself and then cinch the strap thight; absolutely perfect fit!)I.e., a lot of stuff! and pretty much everything I need to wander about. Carried the bag for hours each day with no complaints. That said, I'm a fairly big guy with very wide shoulders/back. I could see a smaller person finding this bag uncomfortable even if it weren't so heavily weighed down as mine was. This is clearly not a bag for a professional photog but for an enthusiast who wants a sturdy, well padded bag that allows for carrying a lot of non-photo related necessities, this thing is perfect. I also really like the look and the fact that it doesn't in any way say: 'expensive photo gear inside'The included monopod is a toy; give it to your kid as a walking stick, use it to train lions, sell it as a sex toy. Whatever you do, don't kid yourself that it's of any use with a DSLR. I bought the kit instead of the bag only because of an offer from Adorama for [$] for the kit versus [$] for the bag alone.

Great carry all

Got a D90 with 2 extra lenses and accessories including a charger, strobe, filters, and a notebook all in one bag. Can't imagine having that in my sling bag. A well thought concept for a DSLR enthusiast. On the other hand, if the monopod that came with the combo is a major consideration for the purchase, I would look elsewhere.

Great deal

Great Quality. Well put together at all seams. Zippers are well constructed and operate smoothly. I'm amazed at the "extra" features such as the double chest and stomach cross-belts that keep the bag secure, and firmly where you want it when carrying it. The bag does not look like a "camera" or "laptop" bag, so you can blend in. Size is perfect. Carry a body, lenses, and all the associated doo-dads without feeling cramped. The photo compartment is high-viz yellow and it's easy to see/find your items in low light. Protection appears great. Thankfully I have not really tested against a "bad" fall or bump..but i'm pretty confident in the protection. The upper compartment will hold a bunch. For overnight/ or carry on use you can get all you need in there easily. Several added outside zippered pockets for the little / loose stuff (cards/filters/batteries) are easily accessed and secure. Bag even comes with a rain cover! The Nat Geo Mono pod is a Bonus. Light weight, but not un-sturdy. Tall enough for practical use and still packs down small. Quite a nice extra. Bottom line for me..Great bag, Great price..and a terrific packable mono-pod tossed in. Hard to get any better!

The DR-467 Digital Rucksack features a unique TST RIB structural protection for two Pro D/SLR bodies with mounted lens, 3-4 lenses, flash, accessories, a laptop and personal gear. By removing the padded bottom camera insert you can easily convert this rucksack from a camera bag to a daypack when not shooting.

The main compartment holds a D/SLR in top grip position while the modular dividers system will separate, organize and protect lenses, flashes and other accessories to suit your particular needs. The dedicated padded laptop compartment will hold and protect up to a 17" laptop.

The large top compartment will hold personal gear or additional equipment, and the internal pockets and mp3 player pouch will allow you to organize your personal effects as efficiently as your photographic gear. Ample external pockets allow quick zippered access to supplies and a water bottle/ tripod support pocket pulls out from a side pocket.

Included rain cover folds neatly away into an integrated pocket and can be hung out to dry on the small buckle next to the handle, or tucked away for storage in one of thepockets. When carrying, a chest belt and balancing waist strap are available for ultimatecomfort, and the rucksack is also compatible with the Kata Insertrolley if wheel along transportation is needed.
