Yes, it covers the full frame

This is my third Kipon adapter with movements. I also own the MD-to-NEX tilt and M645 to Canon shift adapters, and both are solidly built and have never given me any reason to worry. This one I ordered to create a frankenlens solution using Rodenstock enlarging lenses, an M42 helicoid, and this for movements on my a7II. It works like a champ with the APO-Rodagon-N 105. The movements are smooth and the controls easy enough to work with. You get 15mm of shift in either direction and 12mm of tilt one way only. You can rotate the adapter on its mount and it has 45 degree click-stops in the rotation. The only negative is that you can't shift and tilt on the same axis like you can on Canon's recent TS lenses. If you plan to use it with M42 lenses, the adapter does allow for infinity. Be aware that there's a mm or so between the bottom of the mount threads on the lens side and the shift plate, so lenses that extend beyond the threads either won't mount properly or will interfere with the movements. I don't have much experience with M42 lenses, so I can't tell you if any of them have large enough image circles to justify this purchase. If you're interested in using it with enlarging lenses, the flange distance precludes using anything wider than a 60 (and even that's a stretch). 80-90mm is probably optimal, and I would recommend either the 25-55 or 35-90mm M42 helicoid. Just remember that the more extension you use, the more it vignettes because of the extension. This adapter itself works as it should. I hope this helps.
