Kondor Blue Base Rig for Sony A1 and A7 Series Cameras, Space Gray

It is a high-quality Base Rig designed specifically for Sony A1 and A7 Series Cameras, presented in a sleek Space Gray finish. This robust rig features a cage with eyelet strap holes and a quick-release Arca Swiss Plate at the bottom, ensuring seamless compatibility with Sony A7iv, A1, A7Riv, and A7Siii models. The cage is also equipped with NATO rails on the left and top sides, along with multiple 1/4" and four 3/8" threaded holes with ARRI Locator Pins. These features allow for secure attachment of anti-twist accessories, including our Mini Quick Release Plates.

The rig also includes a Trigger Top Handle with a Start/Stop Record Button. This handle supports both Sony LANC and Panasonic Protocols, ensuring broad compatibility with a range of cameras, including Z CAM, Blackmagic, Sony, Canon, Panasonic, JVC, and more. The handle also features five 3/8" threaded holes with ARRI Locator Pins for attaching anti-twist accessories.

The 15mm ARRI-Standard Baseplate is an industry-standard bridge plate that supports 15mm LWS rods. It's perfect for setups with large lenses and matte boxes, thanks to its standard dovetail connection and 15mm rod support. The baseplate features a side-load camera plate system for easy camera mounting, and includes a Manfrotto 501-standard camera plate. It's equipped with 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting screws and tripod mount threads, and is rubber-padded to prevent scratching and twisting.

The Sony E Mount Cine Cap, a Kondor Blue Cine Cap, is a metal lens cap that protects your camera's port and sensor while adding a high-end look to your rig. Made from aerospace-grade aluminum alloy and finished in gray, it features engraved lens orientation markings and precise ridges for easy gripping.

The rig also comes with 8" PPSh 15mm Rods, the lightest aluminum rods in the industry that don't compromise on strength. These rods are perfect for attaching accessories like follow focus, matte box, lens support, servo motors, and more. They can be extended to custom lengths with M12 Rod Extension Connectors (sold separately).
