Shopper : What is the exact difference between high capacity and normal capacity cartridges for the yellow and cyan KM 1690MF?GREGORY H : "Exact difference" is hard to say. If your print jobs consist of enough 'print' to cover 20% of the page or less (a usual print), you may see a great difference. Most of our color printing covers 95% of the page - so we burn through it longer. We may see a cartridge last 1 month with high volume (2k @ mo) printing or three months with lower print volumes. It really hinges on how much you print and how often!PENELOPE B : It's over twice the capacity of the standard cartridge. These will lower your cost per print significantly.

horribly expensive
OEM works fine, but chip prevents user from using last 10-15% of toner. At this price, that mounts up quickly. I'm shopping for a new color laser printer. The Xerox I'm looking at is projected to cost less than half per copy (including all supplies) than the KM.

Exactly As Advertised
Having tried a few different "compatible" toner cartridges, I got tired of messages and messy cartridges. So now I use only the KM brand. I am pleased that Adorama can offer the cartridge at a very reasonable price. And it really is the KM brand, not a knock off.

Just what the doctor ordered
This cartridge makes the printer work like a champ. I tried to use compatibles but the printer wouldnt recognize the cartridge and I struct out.
