I've tried multiple docks to get all 3 of my 27" monitors working well with my gaming laptop. It was perfect to expand the limited laptop plugs from 1 extra monitor to all 3 and it kept the laptop display working as well. The mouse, keyboard and sound all work flawlessly through the dock. I have had 0 flickers in performance in terms of keyboard input, audio or visual feeds. I like that there is a power button so I don't have to just pull the cord to turn it off as well. Very very solid and heavy quality dock.

Finally, a triple-monitor dock that works with the Macbook Pro 16 GB version. All other triple-monitor docks that I tried (4 now) wouldn't display ALL monitors at the expected resolution (for me, FullHD, I'm old!), this one just works! Plugged everything in, turned it on, and low-and-behold, I'm in business! The quality of the dock is great. The outer case is metal, not plastic, and the connections are very tight.

So far so good with this Kensington SD4900P Triple 4K Display Docking Station working on two BenQ1080p IPS monitors. I do not have a third monitor so I cannot comment to that capability. However, all seems to be syncing well with two plus my gaming keyboard, mouse, and headphones. The USB3.0 adapter for the USB-C cable is a nice addition. Makes for another way to test capability between workstations. Having a total of 6x video ports available, this docking station provides two great options to me for video output (both supporting 4k which is nice). I prefer Display port myself, but it always helps to have an alternative, and this hits that mark. Another plus, which is becoming increasingly more standard as more fiber is laid across the country, is the Ethernet port which supports gigabit speeds. Personally, I have fiber, and this is a great positive for me. I hate having to throttle my speeds to accommodate legacy hardware. The 3-in-1 card reader is a nice to have available feature, but I do not utilize it so much as I use the cloud. I have multiple laptops running macOS and Windows 10 so this docking station makes it a great convenience for me. All in all, this docking provides the versatility and convenience for me, and I know that when I expand to 3x displays that this will make for a solid transition. One aspect that does set the Kensington SD4900 P Docking Station apart from others is the 3-year warranty with lifetime technical support, and while I hope not to utilize the warranty and technical support, I am glad that I have the peace of mind to know it is there.

I completely underestimated how nice it is to have a docking station like this. Having to plug everything into my laptop individually when I'm frequently disconnecting everything was such a pain but now all I need to do is toggle one cord. The quality is excellent and it has all the ports I need.

I received this docking station for exchange for review. Just in time when i really needed. This actually helped me connect my devices into one location and it has ever since helped my work so productive and it is so useful especially i been working from home lately. I would definately recommend this product

This dock does exactly what it claims: supports 3 screens with 4k/DP++ capabilities, through a single USB-C cable to the computer. If that's what you need then then this dock is it!! Having both DP and HDMI options is very handy and convenient. I just use the HDMI ports and they are performing as expected. The additional USB-A ports are quite helpful for any peripherals you may have. I only use one for a Webcam and have not experienced any latency or power issues with it which is a very nice surprise. The ports along the front (headphone, additional USB-A, USB-C for charging other devices, and CF, SD, MicroSD) are positioned in a way that make them easily accessible which is a big plus for me. I would highly recommend this dock to all of those techies out there looking for a reliable 3 monitor solution that supports 4K. I am happy with it and wish I had tried it sooner.

This is a really good docking station that is really easy to use and setup. I had 3 monitors up and running within minutes on this dock. The USB ports are full bandwidth which allows you to charge other devices as well. This dock is made of high quality for sure as I've had no issues. I would highly recommend this docking station for anyone that wants to connect 3 displays. Awesome product!!

I cant say enough about this docking station. It was the perfect set up that I needed now that I am being forced to work from home. I easily connects to my two 4k monitors. The resolution is awesome and doesn't slow my Macbook down a bit. This dock also allows for multiple connection, it has usb and SD card inputs. I would recommend this docking station for anyone that is looking to upgrade their home office and make a great working station at home.

Working as a graphic designer I've been looking for a port that supports multiple monitors and can connect my laptop. I've found the frame rates do not suffer lag like some lower powered options and it was very easy to setup. I did find that this did not work with an older monitor I has so be sure to check the specs before purchasing. Really pleased with this setup and the port unit itself is small and discreet and doesn't take up too much desk space.

There are many so called "USB-C hubs" out there that might be cheaper. Well, let me tell you, these hubs always have some downside. They might support displays at 30hz instead of 60hz - or they die when you connect too many peripherals. Or slow down as the hub heats up. Or perhaps the power delivery is not up to standards to keep your laptop charged up. This kensington dock has no such limitations! Great buy for any desktop or even in your laptop bag. You get support up to 3 monitors, 60w power delivery for even the most power hungry laptops. And the USB ports are full bandwidth USB 3.0 with full 5 or 10w charging support.
