The ultimate cutting solution for flexible material, the Futura Flexo is ideal as a general purpose cutter. It is also perfectly designed for more specialist tasks like cutting and trimming flexo plate, floor graphics or other materials that require a seamless splice.

The Futura Flexo features an all new cutting head with built-in self aligning ball bearing rollers, operating on twin steel tracks which deliver a sliding action that is smooth, effortless and precise. This guarantees no flex, side play or blade deflection. Featuring both bevel and vertical blade holders that are spring loaded and retractable when not in use. The dual head cuts a bevelled edge on the top side and a reverse bevel on the bottom allowing both edges to join seamlessly.

The Futura Flexo is particularly well suited to cutting flexo printing plates and can take the onerous task of hand bevelling out of your hands, offering you noticeable cost savings. Improper hand-cut bevels will produce gaps between the splices, meaning time is spent filing and taping them, creating stress points which can release during a press run. Sadly this has costly implications; your plate can lift off the printing cylinder and destroy itself. With the Futura Flexo you will create seamless splices every time.

The Futura Flexo comes with a variety of accessories making your cutting machine versatile and multifunctional. The cutting fence facilitates accurate repeat cutting 0-75cm wide, perfect for cutting parallel strips. Support arms provide added support allowing you to cut bigger materials without distortion. The squaring arm will allow you to cut precise 90 degree angles and squares, giving you the option to pre-set your measurements using the integral calibrated stop.

Bevel & vertical cutting head features

Magnetic blade cartridges
Both the bevel and vertical blade holders are fitted with quick-release Magnetic Blade Cartridges

• Blade depth adjustment is simple using the depth adjustment screw pictured
• Maximum Blade Depth: Max. Bevel blade depth is 5mm. Max. Vertical blade depth is 10mm when using a Trapezoidal Blade and 8mm when using a Rectangular Blade
• Colour coded for easy identification and calibration of pre-set depths

• The standard blade used with the Futura Flexo is the Medium Duty Utility blade however various blade options are available to suit different applications

Unique roller 'lift and hold' system - optional
• Raises or lowers the cutter bar and frees both hands for mat handling and makes routine setting and working a pleasure
• Operates in one smooth and silent movement and when used as the alternative to the main handle reduces the already low lifting effort by two thirds for easy all day working
Squaring arm - optional
• The instant clip-on clip-off optional right squaring arm with repetition stop is ideal for accurately sizing squaring rigid boards
