The flat mount made it very easy to mount a fluid head to the Pocket Dolly and added stability that other solutions I'd devised couldn't. I bought my Pocket Dolly used so it was missing a few important elements. What I would really like to highlight is the experience getting the flat mount through Adorama. The item was backordered as the original Pocket Dolly is no longer in production so Adorama let me order it without charging my card until it became available. Though it took months to become available, the price had dropped in the interim and Adorama charged me the lower price instead of the cost for which I'd reserved the item.
