I had a pack of this paper when I used an old Condensor enlarger, and things were too contrasty and times were very quick. Using a color head, times are reasonable, and )0Y0M yields about what Ilford MGIV does with a number 3 below. However, whites are definitely whiter, and blacks seem deeper and the paper has a slightly colder tone. Overall, it seems to have a bit more range than Ilford, which complements the increased contrast very nicely. Not a great beginner paper, though, especially in this size. at f/16 with 40CCs of neutral density dialed in to my color head, my print times are usually centered around 8 seconds for a negative of normal density. I usually do test strips in with a sequence of 6,6.5,7,7.5, and 8 seconds to really dial in print time. With an old analog timer, this precision would be impossible. Excited to try this paper in larger sizes- Given my calculations I should be seeing excellent 12-15 second print times at a sharper f/8 and a little more neutral density. Split grade printing works great with this paper, too. Overall, it's my favorite paper for landscapes with a lot of dynamic range that need some extra punch. This paper definitely delivers that, and for those shots looks much nicer than Ilford.
