Andrew S : Does metering work?DAVID P : This is known as a "dumb" adapter, meaning there are no electrical contacts to inform the camera of aperture nor control autofocus. Any lens attached to this would function exclusively with Manual Focus only, if your camera can meter with manual lenses, then yes metering will still work. However if your cameras metering is dependent on an electrical connection to the lens, then metering will not work with this adapter installed.

LEOPOLDO R : I have a manual lens that doesn't have aperture ring. Can i change the F stops from the camera with this adapter ?Mr Brian R : No, not that I'm aware. This is a manual affair with no electrical contacts between camera body and adapter. I use it to mount an older Pentax 50mm prime lens to my Fuji body, and I have to manually adjust the lens.
