The main purpose of this filter is to reduce the amount of light entering the camera lens, allowing for longer exposures or wider apertures in bright conditions. It's especially useful for landscape, architecture, and astrophotography.
A '10-stop' filter refers to the filter's ability to reduce the amount of light entering the camera lens by 10 stops. This allows for a wider aperture and slower shutter speed to be used, even in bright conditions.
The multi-coated design of this filter helps to reduce flare and ghosting in your images. This results in improved image quality and contrast, enhancing the overall visual outcome of your photography.
While the filter is versatile and can be used for various types of photography, it is particularly effective for scenarios that require long-exposure effects or shooting in bright conditions, such as landscape, architecture, and astrophotography.
The high-quality optical glass used in the construction of the filter ensures accurate color representation and minimal distortion, which significantly enhances the overall image quality.

I have not actually used this product yet, but it is well built, lens is glass with an aluminum frame. I would have zero issues purchasing more, and actually plan to pick up a .6 and .9 (4 stop and 6 stop) at my earliest convenience.
