SA254M2 DSLR Camera Aluminum Tripod from K&F Concept is a lightweight travel tripod that is rich in the kind of features found in much larger tripods. The legs may be positioned independently to multiple angles for use on uneven terrain, and they open or close quickly with large flip locks. The legs may be inverted for ultra-low level shooting and reverse fully and fold to a travel-ready 18.1" length. For shoots where an even more compact support is called for a removable leg converts into a monopod, and the center column may be combined with it to form a full-sized tall monopod. The included tripod ball head incorporates an Arca-type quick release clamp and quick release plate set and features quick single knob release and an independent pan locking knob for panoramic imaging.

I needed an affordable but arca-swiss compatible tripod/monopod combo and this fit the bill. The legs collapse in the opposite direction and can be a bit challenging to open at first. Additionally, removing the leg and stand for the monopod can also be challenging so you need to plan ahead about which one you need before heading out. For the price, I find it to be quite sturdy and versatile so the initial challenges in operating it are easily overlooked.

A bit finicky to use, but versatile and affordable.

This Tripod is excellent. The quick releases work great. All adjustments are super tight and calibrated. Love the mono-pod option, and let's be honest, it looks bad ass!

I really was impressed with the quality of the carrying bag right off the bat, then I saw the tripod. It is nice aluminum and solid feeling components. I would recommend this to anyone.

QUALITY

This appears to be a sturdy, versatile, and functional tripod for my needs. I like how it is fairly light weight and has a nice carrying case. The ball head kit makes it easy to position the camera. It is best for a lighter camera/lens set up.

Impressed

This is just what I needed. I purchased a Manfrotto tripod a couple years back but it was heavier and longer. This new tripod is lighter and fits easily it luggage space.  Also, I now can adjust it flat on almost any terrain and can place my camera very close to the ground and at most normal heights for a tripod. It?s sturdy enough for almost all my camera setups and easily folded.  I am satisfied with this unit. Thanks!

Worth the pice.

Pretty solid tripod, I like the adjustments I can make on it, have used for real estate photography and product photography mainly. It can handle a sony a6000 with wide angle lens pretty easily - it will kind of sink a bit with a tele photo lens - overall I'm happy with it - way better than my last tripod.  Folds away in a nice size too, cool orange color.

I've only ever had hand-me-down, garbage level (aluminum tripod that sells for $25 new) tripods before. I shopped around and read reviews on a bunch of different units that were all in the $200-600 range and decided to try the more down-market version of a brand that reviewed well, going it didn't lose too much in usability.

It didn't! The joints and ball mount are all hefty-feeling solid metal, and the only plastic parts are the knobs and the leg extension latches. No creaky-sounding sloppy anything here though. Even the plastic leg latches are thick, heavy plastic.

The ball head rotates with a nice oil-dampened feel, and the screw mount is also all metal and closes with an authority that says it could hold a much heavier camera than my little MFT.

Very pleased with this purchase... I don't know how it could have been any better at this price point.

Pleasantly surprised.  For the price I have only one complaint.  The adapter works loose easily so if you have it attached to a heavy lens, it will cause the camera to tilt making images unlevel.

Fix the attachment shoe and great tripod for the price

Too often the items we see advertised fail to live up to the photos and descriptions given by the seller, but I?m happy to report the tripod I purchased from Adorama, the K&F Concept SA254M2 Aluminum Tripod with Monopod and Ball Head Kit, was everything it was purported to be. I bought it for my niece, wanting her to have a well built, functional and user friendly tripod that could transport easily and still handle the big lens weight. (150-600mm lens) I?m happy to say this was a good purchase of quality stuff.

Honestly? I really like this product. Sturdy. Good adjustable height. Easy to use. Comes with a carrying bag. Love the color. I'd buy this as a gift even.

I have yet to use it.  I looked it over and it appears quite sturdy, well designed and built.

First look

This tripod from K&F has worked great for me. I am using it mainly for simple videography, static interview-style shots, and family photos. It is heavy and sturdy enough that I don't have to worry about my DSLR shaking at all. Putting it away is also easy and I appreciate the carrying bag that was included. Would definitely recommend to others and will consider the company for future purchases.

Solid tripod for a great price

Choosing an inexpensive tripod for not professional might be tricky. Don't want to spend too much, and don't want to buy a tripod for several uses only. With so many levers at each joint, tripods are vulnerable. The inexpensive ones cut corners by using plastic. This piece of equipment made of aluminum, except of leg extender clips, which is totally fine. This was least expensive fully metal tripod. Great engineering too. Recommend.

Least Expensive Well Engineered Aluminum Tripod

Perfect for my need. Sturdy and strong. Seems a well made tripod. Legs spread wider than my old tripod which gives a better confident that my camera will not tip over. Materials used are of high quality for the price. Good for photography hobbies that are in a budget like me.

PERFECT FOR THE NEED

A solid tripod/monopod. The center column is removable and one of the legs will untwist to create a monopod. It is a little big if collapsed in this way. 

I saw a few youtube reviews that showed the center column can fold over for product photos or overhead shots. This is not the case for this model. I think that is only for the carbon fiber version.

Solid product for entry level photography.

Huge upgrade from cheap tripods. Taller, more freedom to go lower or create a smaller footprint, and the optional monopod all make this a great option for a mid-market tripod.

Excellent little travel kit

This is an excellent, light weight, all-in-one tripod/monopod. It extends up 6 feet, nice a tall. It has a terrific swivel base with a bubble level. With its own carrying case, makes it perfect for the novice or the experienced camera person. The best part is the price!
