The KineKIT Edge Camera Cage features an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) baseplate, ingeniously designed to align with the power contacts at the base of the camera body. This allows the MAVO Edge to be powered by two NP-F550 batteries, facilitating hot-swapping and continuous shooting. Whether you're shooting with a tripod, gimbal, or Steadicam, the KineKIT Edge Camera Cage is versatile enough to adapt to your needs. It can easily transition from a 15mm system to a 19mm system by simply adding the 15mm to 19mm baseplate at the bottom. The kit also includes a 15mm rod adapter on the top handle, perfect for managing wireless focus while operating a gimbal. The enclosed top handgrip offers an ergonomic design that can be easily slid on or off and secured into place with a lever lock. The top plate of the KineKIT Edge Camera Cage is equipped with 1/4-20 threaded holes on its side, allowing users to mount the Movcam Mini EVF bracket directly. The NATO Slider on the top plate enables the direct installation of a wireless follow focus motor through 15mm aluminum rods. The side support includes one ARRI rosette and 1/4-20 threaded holes, designed for mounting the CheesePlate Handgrip. The UPS Baseplate can house two NP-F550 type batteries, providing an uninterrupted power supply. For optimal performance, we recommend using the GripBAT 2S, as its capacity is 75% higher than most 2000mAh batteries on the market. The KineKIT Edge Camera Cage also features a Mini Viewfinder Bracket, allowing the KineEVF to be directly attached to the camera body for lightweight operation. The Bottom Adapter Plate is designed to match Movcam's Sliding Dovetail Plate, enabling you to adjust the center of weight while on a tripod.
