Recommend you purchase camera manufacturer cable if you do not have it and forget the card readers if this is an example of what some might call quality I am very disappointed -

This is a good multi-reader for the price. It isn't super compact, but does well for the price. It has covers for all the ports which makes it to limit damage to them.

I have a sony digicam that uses a Memory Stick and other laptop and desktop has no slot for a memory stick. So purchased this to be able to transfer files from memory stick to computer. Had no problems with the transfers. I've also used it with microSD and SD cards with no issues. I especially like the fact that this is a compact sized reader compared to some others out there. A possible negative is that this is larger than the typical USB thumbdrive. So if you have to use a USB port in a tight space, it may not fit. However, there is a supplied USB to USB cable (which I have yet to use). Been using for 6 months now.

I had been having trouble with my computer reading the little memory stick from my camera and the IT tech where I work suggested I get a reader with a USB connection. This gizmo is great for picture transfer. The only problem I had is that the little cable extender for narrow access does not appear to work. For under $10.00 I did not complain.

I have a sony vaio notebook and ps3. They dont have a sd/micro sd card reader builtin. So i bought this product as kingston is good company. It is very easy to use and the ports can be closed to avoid any physical damage. I have used it only twice till now. so far its been good. Would definitely recommend this product for backup and image transfer.

This is a good multi-reader for the price. It isn't super compact, I recommend getting a reader purely for the type of card you are reading if you want a super compact one. I sometimes have problems aligning sd cards into the slot properly and have to try a couple of times. It has covers for all the ports which makes it sturdier when you carry it around in your pocket.

card reader works fine when directly plugged into USB port, but as noted, large size can be a problem inserting in USB port. Dongle is supplied to overcome this problem, but my computer won't recognize the reader thru the dongle. Dongle works for other USB items so that piece is OK. Can't explain why it doesn't work with card reader. Inexpensive and works, as long as you're not counting on the dongle

It does exactly what it's supposed to. It is a high speed transfer memory card reader. It also supports High Capacity cards which are problematic and typically slow to read. The lightweight adapter fits in the camera case so the images can be seen literally anywhere.

I purchased this to use mainly for transferring files and images from my blackberry to my pc's ( both work and home). It's small enough to throw in a pocket and forget it's there, works with the micro-sd cards that the majority of cell phones are using these day's as well as full size cards that are used with digital cameras. Very nice multi-use card reader.

It's very portable, never fails to work, reads all my SDHC cards without any problems. For the money, how can you go wrong???

I had purchased a different brand of card reader from another camera store, which cost twice as much as this one, and did not work, so I had to take it back. I ordered this one, based on the combo of the cheap price and positive reviews. It works great, interfaces with my Mac flawlessly, and best of all, doesn't feel like it's going to snap my SD card in half trying to get it in like my previous purchase did. The included cord turned out to be very needed, as the location of my USB ports wont allow the device to plug straight in - it's too bulky and there's not enough room. So I was very glad that the little cord was included. Great buy.

I use this product to transfer HD video files from SDHC cards to my computer rather than using my GoProHD camera. It works great, makes for fast transfers, comes with a handy umbilical connection. Very good product for a great price.
