Jan K : Is this memory card compatible with Nikon D200?Steven M : I don't know if this card will work in a Nikon D200. I used the card I purchased in my Focus Enhancements PRO 200 Digital Video Recorder and it worked. It was not on the approved list of cards, but it did read and write video files fast enough to do the job.ROGENE S : I use this and similar cards on my DSLR that records 22MP. No problem for years!ROBERT H : It worked with my D200 and D300 with no issues. It does not work with my D800 or D810. Great card. Just format after each time you pull the files off of it. I think mine even made it though a washing machine and came out working fine and a bit cleaner.
Shopper : I'm shooting All i-frames with Canon 5D Mark 3..will Kingston 600x write speed be fast enough to avoid buffering? How many minutes of video can I record in All i- frames? Do you have 64GB cards? Thanks, Neil S.MARK M : I would not buy these cards. I purchased them in 2010 and they were not even as fast as the 300X cards from Sandisk and other vendors. My review on the card is on the Adorama site. Maybe they are improved now but I tested with multiple Canon cameras. doram was great to take the card back. I will say that I do have a 600x Lexar card and it does perform at the 600x speed. When shooting raw it will buffer on the 5DIII but I don't think you would see much of any buffer delay with JPG only. Checkout robgalbraith web site benchmarking actual cards on each camera model. I tried to link it but Adorama would not allow it.
Shopper : is it compatitive with canon 5d mark 3? thanksJACOB C : All that I am able to verify is that it is NOT compatible with the Nikon D800. I strongly urge you to check your Manufacturers (Canon) supported device list, which should be easily googled with, "5D MIII supported memory"...MARK O : Yes it works perfectlySTEPHEN S : I have the 5d mark 2. However if the Mark 3 has a CompactFlash (CF) card slot it should work.MATTHEW F : I have not used the card in my Canon EOS 5D Mark III. I do expect that it would work. I have used the card in a SONY Alpha 700 and an Alpha 77 without any problems.

For Canon 5DMkII

I do not do video so this card is plenty large and plenty fast. Just what I needed.

Great product at a great price

I am a professional photographer but do not shoot in massive bursts, so this card is fine for me, especially if I am shooting raw. Have owned many Kingston cards without a problem.

Kingston 32GB CF Card

I have only use this card three times so far. It works just as good as any other card that I have used. It is fast as others. I would have given it a 5 star if I had used it more. I purchase this produce because all other Kingston produce I have used have worked just fine. I use it in my Canon 7D

Solid performer

This is my perfect CF card. I have been buying these Kingston 266x at verious capacities (16GB & 32 GB) exclusively for the past few years now and never had the slightest issue. Recently I have been doing a lot of timelapse, requiring the larger cards and this one is just priced very well so I purchased four in the past few months. 266x may not be the fastest card around, but it has no problem keeping up with both video and continuous drive shooting on both my Canon 7D and Canon 5DII. Never noticed any speed difference with faster cards, except perhaps for uploading (but even that goes faster than I need it to be with my card reader). I really do not see any weak points to this card, except perhaps if you do need the added speed of a higher UDMA-rated card.

Back Up Data from 5D3 Camera

Bought several of these cards for use as a "poor man's" hard-drive to backup picture data from my 5D3 camera. They are slower than my primary SDHC cards, but they are fine for use as backup and the price is right! In a pinch, I could also use them in the camera, which I couldn't do with a hard drive.

Whaddya expect, ole reliable Kingston!

I have decided that in addition to standard hard-drive backups, I might as well never delete the thousands of photos and just buy a new flash card. This one will go in as soon as my previous Kingston, same type but 16G is full - almost, another 120 pix to go, and then into my safety deposit box!

Does its job well

I own many Kingston brand memory cards and I like them because of their value. You get a lot for your money and all have been very reliable. These are not the fastest cards by any means but are enough for photography and videos. These work well with the 5DM2 and 7D's for video and photo.

excellent card - FAST

Kingston makes great cards and this is no exception. With a firewire 800 card reader, this card reads at 90MB/sec and writes at 50. it might not be what 600x is supposed to be, but i think all cards overestimate their speed. either way it's faster than anything else i have tried. they are also super reliable, and i have never had a kingston card fail on me.

A risky purchase

CF 32GB Ultimate 600x is incompatible with many [most] readers. I bought 2, neither is recognized by: __ 2 diff HP desktop built-in readers __ 3 diff PNY readers __1 Lexar reader. Of all readers I own, only Sony MRWE is able to r/w this card. If either of the 2 cards I received are plugged in during system boot, then systems boot locks up until card is disengaged. I cannot trust this card with images of value (are anyone's images NOT of any value?). Card is clearly a non-std and poorly-tested design. I own other Kingston cards, and liked them until now. This model is UNACCEPTABLE, and drives Kingston down to my "black label" list.

Really not fast

As MAM wrote the card gives you only around 30 frames in 15 secs on a 7D. Did the same test with a 16 GB Transcend and got 62 frames in 15 secs.

Kingston 32GB, 266x CF memory card

This card is very good. My only disappointment with it is speed. I use both Kingston 266X and Lexar 600x cards and there is a noticeable difference. The obvious advantage of this particular Kingston card is that it holds 32 GB of information and it was offered at a reasonable price. Does that offset the speed? Yeh, probably for the way I use my equipment which is 60% still and 40% video.

Good features for a great price!

Adorama's offer of a "best brand at a best price" Compact Flash Memory Card is hard to pass up. I have purchased faster and slower memory for my camera but stayed away from the higher capacity because of the higher cost. I've been waiting for a price that I could live with (…me and the wife) and jumped at the chance from Adorama to buy moderate speed memory with Kingston reliability.

Not fast at all

I purchased both the 16Gig and 32Gig of the Kingston 600x. The price was great but when I tried them out they seemed very slow. I benchmarked them using a 7D for 15sec with Raw+JPG. These only got 28 frames. Sandisk Extreme III got 32 frames. Extreme IV got 38 frames. The Kingston should have been much faster but they are slower than cards rated less than half their speed. I also did the test with a 5dII and 50D with similar results. However I must say Adorama was great about returning them. My guess is the UDMA mode was not working with my Canon cameras. But they are useless since that was what I purchased them for. I'm going back to Sandisk.

Ok to use for video

I use this card in a Canon 7d for video for my production company. When I first bought the camera I purchased the Kingston 32gb 15mb/s, but the storage meter kept flashing because the card was too slow. The camera would eventually cut off during filming, but this 45mb/s card is perfect. Good to use for video and obviously a fantastic price for the storage.

solid state

Don't recommend these for use as a solid state HD. They are only 45 Mps. You need something around 3 Gps to function satisfactorily. OK for use in cameras however, but there are faster options available.
