The price is right and in the few weeks I've shot on this card I've not had any issue. Not the fastest, but works for the Canon 40D.

I have two of these and both work fine. They aren't the fastest cards but unless you are shooting super high res photos and HD video at high FPS then these will be work horses for you.

Needed some CF cards that hold smaller amounts of data. Not always easy to find anymore. These fit the need to a T.

Let me start out by saying I have a great respect for Kingston products. I have never had a product of theirs fail in over 30 years of buying their gear. Picked up this 4gb card to use in my 10 year old Nikon D70. The first few pictures seemed to record faster than my old Sandisk Extreme 1gb that I recall paying $100 for back in the day. The suddenly I got a card error and when I hit play it said no images on card. Pulled it out and reinserted it and the images were back and I kept shooting. When I plugged the card into my computer to transfer the images off the card I found about 10 percent were corrupted. What bad luck I have had lately. An Adorma salesman recommended Sunpak Tripod bought as a gift to my beginner niece that broke on first use and took 9 weeks to get a replacement part from Sunpak (and countless emails and calls and phone calls). a "White Card" that had a stain on it from the attached cord since it was sitting for so long in the package, and now a memory card from one of the most reliable memory manufacturers that is unusable because it is unreliable. Good grief.

I always shop around before buying anything and I find kingston products a great value. Cheaper than the competing brands, but delivers a good performance. I recommend.

Stopped in to Adorama because I forgot to bring a CF card with me that day. Needed something cheap and this was it. I don't need a particularly fast card, so I don't pay attention to speed. It does exactly what it's supposed to do. A case to go with it would have been nice... but who really cares for the price!

Bought two, tried one, and so far it's working just fine on my Nikon D70, despite not being "approved" by Nikon for the camera.

It's hard for me to give my opinion on this card as I bought it as a gift for someone else. Not sure if they've used it but haven't heard of any problems.

While not the fastest card on the market, just how fast of a card does a photographer who shoots mainly still subjects (think: landscapes, portraits, astronomical) really need? Right! My point exactly! And the relatively low cost lets me download the images incrementally then, when the card is full, make a few notes as to what's on the card (dates of shoots, subject matter), then file the card away as an archival back-up instead of erasing it. A photog does not really want more than 8GB for this; larger cards can get unweildy. The only real drawback that I've discovered is that these CF memory cards do not come with a protective case. Other than that, all systems are "Go!"

What's to say about Kingston Compact Flash Cards? They are top quality, very reliable, quite inexpensive, and totally dependable. I bought them for a trip to Europe this fall, and they performed as expected!

This is a basic Compact Flash camera memory card, but it does its job well. What's to say about a quality product? It is dependable, fast and capable. It performs as it should. Highly recommend!

I use the Kingston Technology 8GB for pictures with my Canon digital Rebel camera. It is great because of all the memory; you can take hundreds of raw pictures or thousand of jpegs. For the price, this is an incredible deal.

I'm using this for an older camera and, although the camera has issues (some of the CF slot pins are slightly bent), the CF card works great and the price was the best I found. I got free shipping (5-7 days) and I got it in less than 5 days.

My older camera-Minolta 7d likes this memory fine. Burst shots as good as sandisk extreme (c-?). No glitches yet.

It's a good card, though if your gonna use it with 7fps rate expect some buffering. From there on its a great card, I haven't experienced any problems with it.

So far so good. Normally I use a different brand but my older DSL cna't take advantage of my high performance cards. These give me added capacity when I don't care about speed and are a good value.

Good buy, great results

My favorite CF brand
By KRISTINE D.
Since I prefer to keep my photographs in the original format as much as possible, I have many CF cards of varing brands, but I prefer Kingstons 4G. The capacity is just what I need so there are not too many pictures to deal with during the editing, cataloguing and storing process. Image quality is great!
One of the world's most popular digital mass-storage devices, CompactFlash memory cards from Kingston bridge the gap between hungry storage requirements and affordability. Users of digital cameras, PDAs and other digital devices can quickly and easily download or transfer digital files between various digital devices and the Internet, using a card that easily fits in the palm of the hand.
With the speed of a memory chip and better portability than a floppy, Kingston CompactFlash memory cards offer greater storage than many other media cards, at a fraction of the cost. They're available in a variety of capacities, so users are sure to find the right size to fit their needs. Best of all, Kingston's legendary quality and reliability are a standard feature on every card.
