First Name L : How do you erase data from flash drive without bothering original file in computer?KRISTIE P : A flash drive is simply an external storage drive, like the floppy disk from olden days. When you delete a file from the flash drive, the original file will remain on your computer's hard drive assuming you don't select it for deletion, too. If you are concerned, create a test file, save to your computer/laptop hard drive, then copy this test file to the flash drive. Proceed with deleting the test file from the flash drive. Then check to see that it is still on your computer's hard drive. It should still be on the hard drive. A flash drive is a wonderful thing to have. Compact, portable and very useful. Kingston flash drives are terrific. I've bought several and have been very pleased.BOBBY F : You plug in your Flash Drive. Open it up, then select the file that you wish to delete, and delete it. If you are nervous with this, plug in your flash drive into a computer that the file is not in, and then you will not be confused as to whether it is going to be deleted in your computer. (This second one is not necessary, but it removes all doubts that you may mess up and delete the wrong one.)JOHNATHAN D : As long as the file is saved in a separate location on the computer itself, for example on the desktop, then you can delete the file from the flash drive without worry that it will affect the file on the computer. A file on the flash drive and a copy of the file on the computer are not connected in any way.

Not what I thought it would be.

I bought them thinking they had an LED indicator light. The pictures led me to think that, but they did not. They were also advertised as 16GB, they were when checked in the properties only 14.7GB. I know that almost all drives roundup but only to the next whole # is acceptable to me.

Good bang for the buck

The product was as advertised, delivered, promptly and works. However, I have no long term experience with this product and only loaded some files and successfully tested them. If you are looking for a flash drive to transport in your pocket you may want one with a cap to protect the connector. However, the slide over cover suits me just fine.

Works Great

For computer repair, I carry this drive with tons of boot loaders programs, antivirus and hard drive programs on it. It works great I always have everything i need in my pocket.
