This has been a great card reader, it downloads so fast, and have saved me so much time. with usb 3.0 it downloads things normally at about 100mb a second. When you have files, you came being close to 64, or even sometimes at about 100gb per event it has made this part of my work so much quicker.
Works great with a canon 5d mark 4, as both card times fit with this card reader! No need to change card.

An ugly but functional card reader.
Drivers loaded with no problem & it then functions as a series of hard drives, one for each card slot. Disappointed that they are still using USB 3.0 when faster technology has been around for several years but I guess you get what you pay for! An interesting touch having the Kingston name light up in red when a card is inserted.

Simple to use and priced right!
This universal media card reader is a great value for anyone looking to quickly download video or still images from a multitiude of devices by simply inserting the data card into any of the four differently available ports and inserting into your computer's USB 3.0 port. I'm just getting started and I love it already! Downloads much quicker than any of my three Canons and it's operaton is very intuitive.

Replacing FCR-HS3
I bought its predecessor, the FCR-HS3, in April 2013 and created a hold-down to fit a 5" drive bay tray so that it was always at hand. It downloaded thousands of digital photos before it wouldn't accept a CF card very recently. I consider that reasonable service in today's economy. I hope the HS4 lives up to my expectations. If it does, I'll be willing to give another 5 star rating in 2029 after 8 years of service.
