Fast USB3 reader
Tight fit on mid-2012 MacBook air 13”; twice as fast as built-in SD card reader with SanDisk Extreme Plus 64GB (U3 V30 90 MB/s card). Gets a bit warm, but not overly hot.

Does what a reader should do
This device allows me to read a micro-SD card directly- no adapter required. It's well-made and transfers data quickly.

Excellent performance, flawed design
Almost a perfect device. The USB 3.0 performance is blistering, the functionality is perfect the, design look and feel is magnificent.
My only gripe is the width of the device. If you have a USB port laid out horizontally the width of the device will block/collide with whatever is to the immediate right or left of the port. It is effectively 2 USB ports wide so it is capable of taking up three USB ports if they are right next to each other.

Excellent card reader
I had bought a cheaper card reader elsewhere and was disappointed in the quality and the performance. This Kingston card reader is very sturdy and it is also very fast. I highly recommend it.

do not recommend
The reader got very very hot while downloading and slowed down significantly when hot. It was so hot I had to use a towel to remove it from my computer. Hopefully it didn't damage the disk

Good card reader.
Good card reader just very slow write speed... And I and hoping that I could use it in my Seagate GoFlex TV media player like a regular usb 3.0 drive or usb thumb drive, but it didn't read it. I was going to try it on my usb input for my in car audio in dash receiver. It does work though well though just doesn't write fast.. Like 15mb a sec.

Very Nice
Well built, can have 2 cards mounted at same time, cards fit snug so they won't fall out. have no complains and the buying experience was great
