I have four, two on ;my desk and two on my keychain. On my desk are for Raspberry Pi NOOBS loading, I'll burn an OS with the laptop while futzing with the other, then swap and repeat which really speeds up cranking out RPi boot TransFlash cards. The minimum power is also a benefit when used as a data thumb drive in the Raspberry Pi itself as well as the added safety of being so tiny it's hard to accidentally knock off while handling. Just having one about also makes MicroSD/TransFlash card transfers to my tablets and mobile phone quick and cable free. The pair on my keychain hold a huge library of my favorite music and the other the file I refer to most often, some books and a movie or two. That is what I tell folks, and there is some truth to that, but the whole truth is the Boot/RootKit on each, one for Fedora variants like Red Hat and the other for Debian variants like Ubuntu. Some Window PC user locked themselves out or scrumed their drive or whatever boot issue it's like Houdini's kestered jailhouse key - I sit down without any apparent tools, secretly pop this in a USB port and turn on the equipment. Wow! It works! I'm a golden wizard. A few keystrokes in the right directory and they are back up and running! You did remember to back-up right? I also use it as just a thumb-drive with super TF/SD powers. As a sneaker net it comes in handy for my LP turntable which will record an .mp3 to the drive until the needle is lifted. Each file is sequential like Record0001.mp3, how can the turntable guess that song? So cutting a side is easier, but I find capturing individual tracks labor intensive. So while one is in the turntable filling with .mp3's the other is in my laptop getting edits for the correct title and other catalog info. Then the files are archived on my external 3TB drive and the TF card slips into my phone for the bluetooth ride. The great feature of FCR-MRG2 is also it's biggest drawback - it is so tiny it is easy to forget and leave behind. Don't detach it from your keys at a friend's house and you can't drive away without it. I have small carabiners in the lanyards on my desk so they attach to the laptop dock lock as where the reside when not in use. The lanyard knot makes the card tough to remove. that's good on your keychain but a slight bend on the desk pair makes swaping easier. I always keep the chamber clean with a card loaded so lint doesn't collect in the slot and five years and counting they continue to perform flawlessly. I'd like to see one upgrade: FCR-MRG3 an identical tiny sleeve TF/microSD adapter to speedy USB3. I'll buy six when those come out.

Found some info on the Kingston site indicating that this item handled SDXC. I had an older one that doesn't. Gave this is a shot, works great.

I'm using this tiny but mighty microSD usb reader with my Nexus 10 via an OTG USB cable. I love the size! Easy to plug in. Adorama shipped it the same day I ordered it and I got it fast!! Highly recommend!

I've been using these Kingston readers for about 5 years now. I carry it on my keyring and found that they will simply stop working after a couple of years. No big deal since they are relatively inexpensive. Very handy to have a place to store data that hardly takes up any space. Highly recommended.

Very tiny, works well. Price is good too. However it's so tight, I had difficulty to remove the SD card after reading.

I needed a portable reader, this was the smallest I found. Easy to use, great price, so I bought two of them.

Fast and easy way to transfer files and images to my computer. Compact reader attaches to keychain so it never gets lost unless you lose your keys. I trust Kingston for their consistently dependable quality products.

I've settled on class-10 microSD cards (Fat32) to host my mobile digital content - music, photos & movies. I don't like handling microSD cards - too small for my paws - so I like to 'store' them in these USB microSD card readers. They will connect to any computer directly or to my Nexus using a 6-inch OTG cable (male microUSB to female std-USB). The bottom line, these card readers allow me to access my microSD media from any of my media devices.

This tiny microSD card reader is replacing the previous tiny thumb drive I kept in my wallet. I like this one because it will be easily upgradable. I have a 16gb microSD card it in right now but I plan to get a 64gb for it in the future, and I can do so without having to worry about a change in size. I keep a copy of Windows 7 installed on this drive for emergency boots, as well as installation files for lots of apps. The size is perfect for my uses.

This is a great little product. I use it for holding music for rental car and home players. Small enough for a key chain.

This SD card reader is great. Easy to store and does the job. I love the small and thin body. It comes with a string so I can attach it to my keys. I insert different SD cards into it for work, school and/or storing music and photos.

I was surprised that something so small could have an even smaller component (micro sd card) inserted and work so well.

Now I'm not sure if it is the adaptor's connection with the USB port or the interface between the MicroSD and this part, but I have experienced a stubborn refusal to allow it to recognized or mounted. Which lasts up till I rub the contacts of both items down to remove carbon buildup
