The Overdrive channel, on the other hand, adds a thick layer of tube-driven mids and saturation, reminiscent of the iconic guitar sounds of the 60s and 70s. For those seeking a heavier drive or a boost for solos, the Koch 63'OD comes equipped with a Boost switch that takes your blues and rock tones to the next level. The Koch 63'OD also boasts both pre and post FX loops, allowing you to add tone-shaping pedals before the preamp and modulating pedals after. A 9VDC output can power additional pedals up to 200 mA and is fully protected against short-circuiting. For added versatility, the preamp features a remote control input compatible with midi switchers or other external switching devices. It also includes a balanced XLR DI output with line level signal, speaker-emulation, and ground-lift for seamless connection to recording or mixing consoles. A 1/4" output with switchable levels ensures easy connection to any type of amp or monitor.
