This circuit adds a fantastic tube saturation to both channels and can be controlled with the OTS Drive and Volume controls. This feature can be considered an on-board effect unit that can be activated or bypassed with the footswitch.

The Powertone III also offers two separate switchable Master Volumes, allowing you to switch from Rhythm to Solo volume for more power during your solos. The Presence control has been relocated to the power amp section for a more authentic sparkle and operation on both the Clean and Gain channels. The new Depth control provides an incredible boost in the low end.

The back panel of the Powertone III features five speaker output jacks for connecting 4, 8, or 16 Ohm speaker cabinets, making it compatible with a Koch speaker cabinet or any other extension cabinet. It also offers two serial or parallel FX loops that can be bypassed, and remote MIDI control of all switchable functions for maximum flexibility.
