I love this ball head. It handles my 100-400 lens with no creep.

This ballhead is expertly machined and built in Indiana. It provides rock solid support for my Fuji X-T3 and 100 to 400mm telephoto zoom lens.

This is a great ball head. Locks in place and doesn't move. This is one I would definitely recommend.

I have this mounted on a Manfrotto 190CXPro4 carbon fiber tripod. It is suitable for mounting my Nikon 80-400mm zoom with tripod collar. I have a second one attached to a Pro Master MP528C carbon monopod. They suit me well for my purpose of shooting scenics and wildlife. But for big glass you need a BH-1 or a gimbal.

Well built, very happy with the purchase. Replaces a Manfrotto ball head that failed. Arca Swiss clamp is a much better design

The ballhead is lightweight but strong enough for a heavy telephoto. Glad I switched to it.

I always prefer if possible to purchase products made in USA. This is my first ballhead. As my first ballhead and I have nothing else to compare it with. Kirk said that the Bullhead has smooth operation.. My BH-3 doesn't seem that way. The only way I can get a smooth operation out of it is sprayed with WD-40. It comes with a five year warranty. If it gets better I will call Kirk support.

Actually, this is my 3rd BH-3 - I use a lot of gear especially for night photography and time lapse. Kirk has quick-release plates for many popular SLRs and big lenses too, and they virtually never come loose. They also have L-brackets for switching to vertical once you have the horizontal locked down. The third head I'm using in conjunction with a Skytracker device.

I wasn't sure I wanted to spend this much on a ball head. But some people had problems with the knock-offs slipping after setting their camera in position. This one locks solid with my 60D. I haven't tried my 70-200 yet. But I'm sure it will hold fine. I haven't noticed any slipping. The knobs are well made and function perfectly. Worth the price. Plus, it's made in USA.

I've used mine for 4 years and like the way it performed I bought one as a gift for my son. It matches well on my Induro carbon fiber tripod. It adjusts to any vertical or horizontal camera angle with smooth movements.

This ball head is the best head I have ever owned. It is rock solid and when I attach my camera to it and set it,I get no flop at all and never have to reposition it because of slop in the ball head. I use this for studio and landscape photographyand I would recommend the Kirk BH-3 Ball head to anyone. I did not find any negatives things to say about it.
