The Kirk LP-56 Lens Plate for the Canon EF 200 mm f/2 L IS USM lens is constructed from solid alloy aluminum, anodized with a scratch-resistant black satin finish and it's compatible with Arca-style mounts. Captive mounting screws are machined from high strength stainless steel. In addition, safety stops are included in the form of stainless steel screws - the lens plate can slide halfway across the QR clamp before it's stopped, which gives you maximum control and flexibility.
