The Kirk LP-57 Quick Release Lens Plate is for use with Canon's 100 mm f/2.8L Macro USM lens. It is custom machined from solid alloy aluminum, which yields a plate that will not twist while supporting the weight of the lens. The LP-57 comes with multiple mounting screws so you can easily mount the tripod collar and prevent it from slipping.
