Great addition for use with monopod

This is a great accessory for use with a monopod. The lens has image stabilation, but this allows for a stable platform especially when shooting verticals. It is machined for use with the Arca-Swiss quick release clamps, but also incorporates a standard tripod thread allowing everyone to use it. Kirk adds support at the front of the mount giving additional stability at low shutter speeds. The collar is lined with a low friction material that will not mar the finish on your lens.
