The next best thing to slide film

I use this film for nature photography, everything from flowers and insects to action shots of birds and animals. The color is great, the photos are crisp, with brilliant color. Enlargement are beautiful. I tell all the film photographers I meet to try this film, its fantastic.

Excellent

Kodak's 100UC is one of my favorite color print films; it's unfortunate it's scheduled to be discontinued. The colors, sharpness, contrast, and grain are just brilliant. If you need more speed, 400UC, too, is available, but it doesn't quite match the quality of this emulsion.

Excellent Film All Around

Found the film, to be well balanced, due to the multi/layer grain. The only thing that maybe Kodak should consider. Is making the film with a little higher ASA for folks that may not have a camera that can't compensate for sudden light changes. Overall the Film does an excellent job and I am glad to see that the film does not have to be refrigerated like in the old days.

KODAK's fine-grained color negative

Good allround fine-grained negative Kodak has ever made. Even though Fuji offers more of a variety on colour negatives, theirs are not as fine/great as the Kodak Ultra Color UC100. Hope Kodak will continue to make this great film in spite of the digital on-slaught.

UC 100

Ultra Color 100 provides the same strong colors and accurate hues that Ultra Color 400 does except with finer grain. The resulting pictures are quite sharp, and the colors are powerful and pleasing.

Excellent color negative film

Very fine grain color negative, probably the finest available in photo store. Excellent color gradation. Color rendition typical of Kodak product - on the warm side which is pleasing to most eyes. Hope Kodak will continue making quality film like this one in view of the onslaught of digital photography.

I love the color!

I originally bought the film to photograph the Grand Canyon and the pictures turned out stunning. I have since used the film for photographing fall leaves, trees, and outdoor photography. I've also used the film to photography still life flowers indoors and the pictures are simply beautiful! One downfall to the film, but to be expected from high color saturation is the fact that the colors sometimes are so brilliant that they aren't believable. Mountain scenes came out with skies a brilliant blue but it wasn't true to life. But I have gotten many compliments on the photos. Simply stunning color! I will always use this film in the future for anything that I want to show good color with. I found it better than Kodak Portra VC (vivid color) film when comparing the two with the fall leaves. UC is way more brilliant.
