Great value and pretty stellar color and grain. My go to daily driver for film in 120.

Overall I think this film is excellent for the price. I do think it looks its best with good exposure. If it's underexposed in shade it doesn't look as good, and is noticeably grainy even with the benefits of medium format. But you can underexpose a little if you're facing right into the sun, and get good results. With enough light and the right setting it's really gorgeous. Really rich colors and solid latitude in the highlights. I just hope they don't raise the price even more?

It's Kodak color print film in 200 ASA, what's not to like? And a 5-pack for a decent price, I'll take it. I just wish they'd still make Kodachrome. It's a shame the digital world is making film obsolete. But I still love my film Nikons, they are so familiar, easy to understand, if you want to shoot aperture or shutter speed priority you don't have to get a computer degree from M.I.T. I hope they don't stop making print film.

This is an underrated film. When you combine daylight and skintones this is one of the best skin rendering films ever made. When photographing people - there's not many films that do what this film does.

Overall I like this film a lot. It's currently the cheapest color negative film on the market and it has great color and contrast. It's a viable alternative to the ultra expensive Portra film, which has inflated to absolute clownish prices. It has that classic Kodak warmth and the contrast is very natural looking. I haven't shot this at 160 or 100 yet, but then again, I don't see a need to. It looks pretty great at 200. The only two negative things I can say about it is the negatives curl a bit once dried, which can pose a problem for scanning. If you have a negative carrier for flatbed scanning, it's probably not a problem but I scan with a digital camera so getting them to lie flat was a small issue. The other thing is the grain. It had a noticeable amount of grain for a 200 speed film. This is no doubt because it's not a true "professional" film like Kodak is marketing it as. It's a grocery store emulsion. Always has been. But the truth is this ISO 200 film has larger, more noticeable grain than Portra 400, which is a full stop faster. The only reason it doesn't bother me is it doesn't have a professional price. At $45/5-pack, I can live with the non-professional grain.

I'm a big fan of Gold 200... like such a big fan it used to be my go-to 35mm film. When I heard Kodak was going to release Gold 200 in 120, I knew I had to get some. Moment had it on pre-order with the best price I could find. As you can imagine, it did not disappoint. I love the warmth and the slight grain it has to it. Good filmstock to achieve a "dreamy" vibe.

This is probably the most affordable way to shoot color medium format. It has really strong warm tones but can work well if you intentionally work that into your photoos

Great price on a 5 pack, it took a few months to be fufilled but I don?t hold that against adorama, know there?s supply issues. On the contrary, I?m happy they upheld the price they gave me and didn?t charge me until it had shipped. Will definitely be purchasing here again.

This is an underrated film. When you combine daylight and skintones this is one of the best skin rendering films ever made. When photographing people - there's not many films that do what this film does.
An exceptional choice for both professional and amateur photographers, the Kodak Gold 200 Color Negative Film delivers a remarkable blend of color saturation, fine grain, and high sharpness. This low-speed, ISO 200 film is expertly designed for a wide range of picture-taking scenarios, excelling in daylight conditions or when used with an electronic flash.
The versatility of this 120 roll film extends to its compatibility with photo lamps (3400 K) and tungsten illumination (3200 K), allowing for creative flexibility when filters are used. Its wide exposure latitude is another standout feature, accommodating two stops underexposure to three stops overexposure. This means you can confidently experiment with different lighting conditions and still achieve stunning results.
Renowned for its warm tones and natural-looking contrast, the Kodak Gold 200 film is a cost-effective alternative to more expensive films, without compromising on the quality Kodak is known for.
