Beautiful film with wonderful contrast and tonality. It's incredibly sharp and has far less grain than other black and white films.

It's a great film if you want nice contrasty scans for social media. There is a lot of flexibility in digital scans. However, I darkroom print and I find Kodak's B&W films more difficult to work with in the darkroom than other B&W film like Ilford Delta or Fuji Acros. T-Max doesn't handle highlights as well as them. I end up having to do a lot of dodging and burning to control the outcome. But digital scans look great for that documentary look with deep blacks and crisp whites, especially when pushed a stop.

Great Product. I have used this film before and have consistently gotten excellent results. The film is a fine grain, which is a definite plus when digitally scanned. I use this film in both 120 and 35mm sizes. I will definitely buy it again. Highly recommend.

This is my go-to film when shooting in black and white. I know everyone likes the Kodak 400 Tri-X, but I'm partial to the TMAX because I think it has somewhat better contrast and it's more forgiving when you want to print images that were over- or under-exposed, compared to the Tri-X.

I'm all about grain, or rather the lack of it, so this is my go to film.

Does what it says- it?s the sharpest 400 speed black and white film out there. Buying 100? at a time is a great way to save a bit of $$, although maybe not quite as much as on some other films.

I've tried many other black and white films, but the T-max 400 was my first. The contrast is good, and I like the authentic feel.

My "go to" reliable fast film for great black and white images. When I don't have time or the opportunity to set my medium format cameras up on a tripod I rely on Kodak TMax 400 film for great handheld photos.

I experiment with a number of off brand films with various cameras primarily for artistic effects, but when I want to ensure that my film photographs turn out the best, using my developing processes, I rely on TMax films. Been using TMax films for over 20 years with almost always reliable results.

Really good probably the best black and white film I've ever used
My absolute favorite B&W film!

I've used many Kodak, Ilford, and Fuji films. My first roll of T-Max nailed the look I was after! I wasn't expecting anything special after my flat, uninspiring runs with Tri-X, so to find a fast, affordable black and white Kodak film with just the right contrast, sharpness, and tones was a nice surprise. I shoot all kinds of cameras, and although the contrast gets a nice bump from a yellow filter, T-Max doesn't seem to need one as much as Tri-X or Ilford HP5. This film is great for class...
