A better amp and DSP would definitely help these speakers as well as pre-wired posts for life after the amp is dead
ARC input frequently switches away to another input or just mutes and requires toggling to another input and back to eARC to get the sound out.
Bass is truly mighty, but the sound does not have as much "body". Guitars sound thin.
Also the speakers are extremely sensitive to quality of a record being played. Recent records sound amazing, 1970s stuff is thin lifeless.
Would love to hear v2 one day, as the concept can be truly magical if they can also establish 5.1 or 7.1 network of high quality speakers.

Strong option in this price range
I wasn't a fan of these out of the box. Then I ran room correction with my Wiim Amp Ultra and everything changed.
They are definitely on the brighter side and sound incredible with any dance or house music. I've been boosting the mid-range via Wiim EQ settings for many other genres and have no complaints.
If you are able to experiment with different locations and speaker heights in your room, you can get good results.
I think these really shine with my vinyl setup (Technics SL-1200 MK7 -> Audio-Technica VM95ML -> Schiit Mani 2 - > Wiim Amp Ultra), but they perform great with streaming music too.
I live in an apartment building so I haven't had an opportunity to really drive them yet, but for my setup the Wiim Amp Ultra provides enough power.
If you're looking for the cleanest mid-range it might make sense to go with another speaker, but I think these are a fantastic option in this price range and would highly recommend picking them up when they're heavily discounted.

The best audio speakers I've ever owned
Arrived in great shape. They were easy to set up and sound amazing even in my very large room. Easily the best speakers I've ever owned.
Only reason for taking off a star is problems with the Klipsch Connect app on Android, which I'll need to set up the Nines equalizer and firmware updates etc. The app doesn't work on newer versions of Android at date of review. Supposedly they'll have a software update to the Connect Plus app in February to support the Nines, which I am eagerly awaiting.
To be clear the software problem is with the Android app. The speakers themselves are great.

One of the best Dolby Atmos speakers around
Great Dolby Atmos speakers. Best price. Only issue I had was it took 8 months from the time I placed the order back in April of this year to finally get them this month. Nothing should take that long.

So far, these are excellent powered speakers!
So far, so good. I was worried about some of the negative reviews concerning quality and not lasting more than a year. So we will see?. I have these integrated into my home theater AV system so they get used everyday. Sound quality is excellent at all listening levels and the app to control functionality is not bad (should you choose to use it). The remote is fine as far as remotes go, If I experience any problems, I will try to update this review later. However, I have 14 Klipsh speaker / subwoofer combinations between two AV systems (upstairs & downstairs) and have had zero issues spread over 10 years. I doubt these Nines will be any different.

As much of an upgrade as the ELAC Debut 2.0 F5.2 speakers were from a pair of Polk T-50s were...it was about an equal jump from those to these Klipsch speakers! Fantastic! I only wish I would have bought them here and saved big money, but I found this deal after my pair were already shipped...

Pleasantly Surprised
I thought I was just getting these until I could get the RF 7 III's. Well I've changed my mind. These speakers are awesome !!! No need to upgrade the home theater now. And I have listened to both. Until I'm ready for Cornwalls I'm a happy guy !!!

Beautiful look and sound
Beautiful looking and sounding speaker. Very clear, even at high volume. I'm using them in my theater as front left and right speaker. I couldn't be happier.
Also, I love doing business with Adorama. I will be returning to buy more from them.

Fantastic starter speakers. Boost is boosted, which you are eq out if you want. But the default sound pretty amazing to me.

Rubbish sound high sensitivity of a mosque trumpet
Harsh and near nasty with poor upper mid-range.one edge of cabinet already lifted off and separating.even the ring around the woofer has developed a crack.cheap build quality despite hyphe.another Boeing or jeep compass... rubbishy build quality can send pics to Manufacturer.see how well the japs build yamahas like works of fine art.regret the purchase and went back to my old Yamaha ns series

Big sound, small package
Don't know how the Klipsch engineers got the classic Klipsch sound without using horns in such a small package. This is the third one I've bought as gifts. I have traditional Klipsch speakers using receiver and amplifiers to power them. My friends and family marvel at the sound but don't want separate components with cables and wires to deal with. Now they can have the Klipsch sound in their homes with a small footprint. Thank you Klipsch.

PERFECT SPEAKERS
I NEEDED A SET OF BOOKSHELF SIZE SPEAKERS TO REPLACE MY OLDER FLOOR SPEAKERS. I KNEW BEFORE HAND THAT I WAS GOING TO GET KLIPSCH. JUST DECIDING ON WHICH ONES WAS ALL I NEEDED TO DO.
THE RP-600ii IS WHAT I DECIDED ON AND I WAS GLAD I DID.
PERFECT SIZE AND THE SOUND IS NOTHING SHORT OF AMAZING FOR SUCH A SMALL BOX. I WILL BE BYING ANOTHER SET SOMETIME SOON TO REPLACE ANOTHER SET OF OLDER SPEAKERS. THAT WILL COMPLETE MY NEW SETUP OF A 5.1 SOUND SYSTEM FOR MY TELEVISION. AWESOME PICTURE AND EVEN MORE AWESOME SOUND.

Outstanding speakers
I use my RP-8000F II's in conjunction with a Yamaha R-N1000A and Klipsch RP-1200SW subwoofer (2.1). These speakers sound so good I'm listening to music I usually don't. The clarity of vocals is what really taken me by surprise. It is able to bring vocals forward without being muddied by instruments, even at painful (no, really) volumes. While I like having a subwoofer for certain situations, these speakers stand on their own without one. Be careful when you turn these on for the first time, especially if you're replacing an inferior speaker. They take very low levels on your volume dial to be loud.

"Boxy sounding"?
I use Amazon a lot for purchasing various items and they usually arrive in boxes. I have spent MONTHS in the vicinity of boxes and though my hearing is sound, as God is my witness I haven't heard a single one give off even the slightest of sounds.
That leaves me confused as to one reviewer insisting that these speakers "sound boxy". MAYBE I need to listen from a different angle or perhaps listen from a closer vantage point, but just now I got up, grabbed an empty Amazon shipping box, put my ear directly against it and........well, I heard nothing.
