Overhaul your audio recording experience with the high-quality and durable MiK 09 Accessory Version Parabolic Microphone Kit. This professional-grade kit, crafted by the reputable brand Klover, is an innovative solution for capturing superior audio from a distance. It includes an equalized microphone and a wind cover, providing enhanced sound quality and protection against wind interference.
The MiK 09 kit is a versatile audio solution, transforming your omni-directional lavalier microphone into a long-range microphone capable of gathering audio from up to 50 feet away in quiet situations. This compact, broadcast-quality parabolic microphone is perfect for mounting on video cameras or placing close to the action in stadiums or arenas.
The kit comes with a parabolic dish, microphone frame, mounting rods and clips, a mounting block with cold shoe slots and a 1/4-20 tapped hole, a cold shoe mount adapter, and a mounting rod for use with shotgun mic clamps. The dual mounting system allows for flexible setup, enabling the unit to be mounted directly to the video camera or wherever a standard shotgun mic would be mounted.
The MiK 09's small size, transparent dish, and nondescript color make it easy to blend into any setting. If required, the frame can be made from transparent polycarbonate for even greater discretion. The parabolic dish shields the microphone element from the wind, reducing susceptibility to wind noise. An additional "dead cat" wind screen is available for further wind noise resistance.
This parabolic microphone kit is compatible with nearly all cameras, making it a versatile addition to any audio recording setup. It offers long-range pickup equal to or better than high-end shotgun microphones and excels at eliminating background noise. The electronic pickup is located inside the parabolic dish, further shielding it from wind interference.
The MiK 09 kit is suitable for a wide range of applications, from military and security surveillance to broadcasting, panel discussions, open meetings, and nature studies. The included wind cover minimizes wind noise when recording in high wind conditions, while the Klover Equalized Microphone, a water-resistant, miniature, omni-directional lavalier condenser microphone with XLR connector, provides a deeper, more natural sound from our parabolic microphones. This microphone requires Phantom power (9 V to 48 V) to operate.
Experience the difference of the MiK 09 Accessory Version Parabolic Microphone Kit, a comprehensive solution for capturing high-quality audio in a variety of settings.
