It also includes a cold shoe mount adapter and a mounting rod for use with shotgun mic clamps. The accessory mounting bracket allows for the addition of flash shoe accessories, such as compact LED lights, to be mounted to the base of the Klover MiK 09.The MiK 09's small size and dual mounting system allow it to be mounted directly to a video camera or in a stadium or arena close to the action. It rejects sound from behind or from the side better than a shotgun mic, ensuring that your audio is clear and focused. A speaker within 6 feet of the unit will sound as if they were wearing a mic, eliminating the need for hiding mic cables and troublesome transmitters.The MiK 09 is wind-resistant and easy to hide, thanks to its small size, transparent dish, and nondescript color. The dish shields the microphone element from the wind, making it less susceptible to wind noise. The included "dead cat" wind screen provides even more resistance to wind noise.The MiK 09 Parabolic Microphone Kit is compatible with nearly all cameras. Its long-range pickup is equal to or better than high-end shotgun microphones, and it excels at eliminating background noise. The electronic pickup is located inside the parabolic dish to shield it from wind.The kit also includes the MiK 09 Wind Cover, which minimizes wind noise when recording in high wind conditions while remaining acoustically transparent. It works perfectly with the wind cover that slips over your lapel microphone. Finally, the kit includes the Sennheiser EW-112P-G3 Wireless Lavaliere Microphone, a nearly invisible clip-on omni-directional microphone that transmits its signal via a bodypack transmitter with a mute function and a portable, battery-powered adaptive-diversity receiver.
