What you're looking at is the KM-09 ACC kit, a comprehensive package that pairs the Klover MiK 09 Accessory Version parabolic microphone with a selection of essential accessories. This kit is designed to transform your standard omni-directional lavalier microphone into a long-range audio capturing device, capable of picking up sound from up to 50 feet away in quiet environments.
The Klover MiK 09, our smallest broadcast-quality parabolic microphone, comes with an accessory mounting bracket. This feature allows you to attach flash shoe accessories, such as compact LED lights, directly to the base of the microphone. The kit also includes a parabolic dish, microphone frame, mounting rods and clips, a mounting block with cold shoe slots and a 1/4-20 tapped hole, a cold shoe mount adapter, and a mounting rod for use with shotgun mic clamps.
The 9" Klover MiK is ideally suited for mounting on a video camera or for use in close proximity to the action in stadiums or arenas, offering a reach of up to 30ft. Its small size and dual mounting system allow for direct mounting to the video camera or wherever a standard shotgun mic would typically be placed.
The Klover MiK 09 is not just compact but also discreet, thanks to its transparent dish and neutral color. If needed, the frame can be made from transparent polycarbonate, making it even more inconspicuous. The dish shields the microphone element from the wind, reducing susceptibility to wind noise. An available "dead cat" wind screen provides additional wind resistance.
This parabolic microphone kit is compatible with nearly all cameras. Simply install an omni-directional lapel within the unit and connect it to your camera as you would normally. The Klover MiK 09 offers long-range pickup equal to or better than high-end shotgun microphones and is highly effective at eliminating background noise.
The Klover MiK 09 is versatile, finding application in military/security surveillance, fire and rescue operations, broadcasting, panel discussions, open meetings, houses of worship, and nature studies.
The kit also includes the Klover MiK 09 Wind Cover, which minimizes wind noise during high wind conditions while remaining acoustically transparent. It works perfectly with the wind cover that slips over your lapel microphone.
