A comprehensive audio recording solution, the Mik 16 Kit includes the KM-16 Parabolic Microphone, Sound Devices MM-1 Amplifier, and the Countryman B3 Lavalier Microphone.

The KM-16 Parabolic Microphone, a product of Klover, is a mid-sized, long-range microphone that transforms your omni-directional microphone into a powerful audio capturing device. With the ability to pick up conversations from as far as 300 feet, this microphone is designed with a unique, modular structure that includes a dish assembly, horizontal and vertical handles, and a microphone yoke with a lavalier mic adapter. The KM-16's design ensures the protection of the collector dish, the most expensive component, in case of accidental damage.

What sets the Klover MiK 16 apart is its ability to generate clear, crisp audio recordings, outperforming its competitors. The microphone's collector dish boasts a "true" parabolic shape, focusing all sound energy on a single point. Unlike other parabolic microphones, the KM-16's connections are made with vibration isolation components, eliminating any unwelcome, squeaking noises caused by movement between components and the plastic dish.

The Sound Devices MM-1 Microphone Preamplifier is a versatile, single-channel, portable microphone preamplifier with a robust headphone monitoring function. Known for its performance in mission-critical applications, the MM-1 offers low-noise, low-distortion gain at all switch positions, thanks to its transformer-balanced input and output and bipolar +/-15 volt power supply. It features an "unclippable" dual-stage limiter and a two-position high-pass filter. The MM-1 provides flexible microphone powering options and can be powered from two-AA batteries or external 5-18 VDC.

Completing the Mik 16 Kit is the Countryman B3 Lavalier Microphone. This miniature, omni-directional lavalier condenser microphone is water-resistant and comes with an XLR connector.

The Mik 16 Kit is ideal for a range of applications, including military/security surveillance, fire and rescue efforts, broadcasting, panel discussions, open meetings, houses of worship, and nature study. This kit offers a comprehensive solution for high-quality, long-range audio recording.
