Sound Shark Equalized XLR Kit
The Sound Shark LED Equalized XLR Kit includes a Sound Shark LED with our custom accessory bracket and two Lume Cube LED lights. Also included in the kit is a Wind Cover and our custom omni-directional lapel (lavaliere) microphone. The microphone comes with an XLR connect that will work with most professional video cameras and professional recorders. Inside the XLR connector, however, is an electronic circuit that equalized the output of the microphone to match the acoustic characteristics of the Sound Shark.

Countryman Associates build this custom microphone for us to provides a deeper, more natural sound from our parabolic microphones while also being water / weather resistant. This microphone does require phantom power (9 V to 48 V ) so please confirm that your camera or recorder can provide phantom power.

This kit includes a Sound Shark, an XLR microphone, 2 LED lights and a wind cover. It has everything you need to record great audio and light your subject, in one package. The Sound Shark can be used with any omni-directional lapel (lavaliere) microphone that works with your camera or recorder. Cylindrical microphones are preferred as they are slightly more secure in our mounting clip.

- Wind Cover -
The Sound Shark Wind Cover minimizes wind noise when recording in high wind conditions while remaining acoustically transparent. You can use the wind cover along with the wind cover that slips over your lapel microphone. They work perfectly together. The wind cover slips over the Sound Shark dish and frame, like a dead cat on a shotgun mic and is closed in the back with hook and loop. A wind cover is included in each of our kits.

Get A More Natural Sound From Your Parabolic
The Klover Equalized Microphone is a water-resistant, miniature, omni-directional lavalier condenser microphone with XLR connector. Inside the XLR connector, however, is an electronic circuit that equalized the output of the microphone to match the acoustic characteristics of the Klover MiK 09 parabolic collector.

The equalization also works extremely well with the Klover MiK 16, giving each a flatter, more natural sound than when used with a standard lavaliere microphone element. This microphone, custom made for us by Countryman Associates, provides a deeper, more natural sound from our parabolic microphones. This mic requires Phantom power (9 V to 48 V ) to operate.

The only thing that's better than a Lume Cube is TWO Lume Cubes! Lume Cube represents the future of LED Lighting. Built with a custom-designed lens and professional quality specs, the Lume Cube is pocket sized at 1.5" cubed, emits a powerful 1,500 Lumens of daylight balanced light and is waterproof to 100 ft inside its durable, aluminum body.
